At the club round at Dews Farm on Sunday, Graham Tickner was thrown from the sidecar and slammed against a tree by the machine, the medical services were called and he was air lifted to St Georges Hospital where he was diagnosed with 3 broken ribs and a ruptured spleen and kept sedated overnight. On Tuesday he underwent a operation to plate his broken ribs and on Thursday had a spinal block inserted to help manage the pain, he was taken off the ventilator but this may only be temporary. Elliott is in contact with Steve Brown and has spoken with his Dad but Graham is finding it difficult to talk. We all wish him well for a speedy recovery.
